Anna Kołodziejczyk (b. 1979, Poland)
Painter, lecturer and professor of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, art curator.
She works mainly in oil painting, focusing on the theme of architectural ruins and the perception of ornament. Winner of the President’s Award in the 8th Eugeniusz Geppert National Painting Competition (2007). In 2021, she was honoured with the SILESIA Cultural Award for her artistic achievements and contribution to the development of culture in Lower Silesia (Poland).
She has shown her works in over a dozen individual exhibitions and numerous collective presentations in Poland and elsewhere. She has participated several times in artistic projects in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto), including an artistic residency devoted to the study of transformations in Japanese architecture (Tokyo, 2022).
